    This looks so familiar, I can smell roasted chilies in the background. Looks like maybe the Hotel St Francis in Santa Fe, don’t know. I love New Mexico; wish I was there again. Beautiful photos.

        When I was small, I remember my grandmother having a string of red hot peppers in her kitchen (not as many as this) and when she told me that to eat one would burn my mouth, I resolved never even to allow one to touch me. I don’t know why she had them to start with – we are talking a fried chicken and mashed potato kind of lady. But those peppers, she was right – I am very sensitive to spiciness and they do bother me. Enjoyed the photo for the memories and for the picture itself.
