    Yes, you really capture the people. I especially like that you have taken the time to honour the presence of older people as they are so often brushed aside or ignored, sadly. You’ve shown the fullness of who they are. By being present with them through drawing them you amplify them. I think this is really fantastic. I would consider an exhibition of these if I was you. Really good stuff.

      I’d love to say I draw the elderly for altruistic reasons, but the truth is that I love to draw lines all over people’s faces. And with old age comes wrinkles. It gives me the perfect excuse to squiggle all over the important bits. I’ve never even though of exhibiting, but if I do, I’ll make a note that says you suggested it.
